Hey, I’m Danielle, a Wilmington based photographer capturing weddings, elopements, engagements, and families. After earning my Master of Social Work from NC State (go Pack!), I fell in love with Wilmington and made it home in 2016.

I’m married to my best friend and soaking up life with our sweet and very busy little girl. I started D McHugh Photography in 2022 with the goal of documenting moments honestly. Nothing forced or overdone. Just real connection and images that still feel like you years from now.
